A word about homeschooling - For our family, the most important goal in our homeschooling endeavors is to raise strong, grounded Christians. Academics is certainly important, but never trumps teaching our children about a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and about holy living.

  Christian Liberty Press
We love this very complete and challenging, yet inexpensive homeschool curriculum.
  Alpha Omega Press
We highly recommend the Alpha Omega Lifepac program and the Alpha Omega Switched on Schoolhouse program. Especially recommended for those new to homeschooling, due to its easy organization.

This curriculum teaches you and your children about a Godly family life, a strong work ethic, and traditional family roles in every subject.

Recommended Reading

The Peleg Chronicles A trilogy of books by Matthew Christian Harding that we read aloud together as a family. The story lines are gripping and we have no problem holding the children's attention. Biblical principles and Bible verses are presented throughout as we follow the adventures of the followers of the God of Noah and their trials with followers of other gods. The books deal with such concepts as dragons, giants and evil without resorting to magic, evolution or humanism. Book One - Foundlings, Book Two - Paladins, Book Three - Loresmen.
  Love Your Husband Love Yourself
Written by Jennifer Flanders, her subtitle "Embracing God's Purpose for Passion in Marriage" says it all.
What He Must Be (If He Wants to Marry My Daughter)
A tremendous book by Voddie Baucham Jr.. One of a Christian father's most important duties to his daughters is to make sure that any man interested in marrying her is at least capable of leading his family from a Godly perspective, but just what does that entail? This book very plainly lays out five biblical principles that EVERY Christian husband should possess.
